DON'T BE TAKEN FOR A RIDE
Ever shop for a car and get a queasy feeling like you were “taken”, cheated somehow and can’t quite figure out how?

1. How a “delivery bump” is a common tactic and can cheat you out of thousands of dollars.
2 How a dealer can claim to give you more for your trade with a common trick.
3.How to get the best interest rate (it’s not what you think)
4.How a lease can be very bad for you or the best thing you can do.
5. The scam of “$0 down” can ACTUALLY mean thousands of dollars out of pocket
You are not alone.
A recent survey states almost 90% of the public HATES to shop for a car—and almost a quarter would rather have a root canal than step foot in a dealership.
My name is Dom Genova and I want to do something about that.
I know what it’s like.
I worked for a major manufacturer for the better part of two decades, calling on hundreds of dealerships and critiquing their operations. I have to tell you I have seen all the nonsense you could imagine and then some.
I got sick of it.
Knowing that truthfulness could be a competitive advantage, I left the company and went on to start a dealership on my own , branding myself as “Your No-Nonsense Car Dealer. ®
Rather than hiding behind large disclaimers foolish tent sales and worthless warranties I educated customers, cared for their needs and developed a loyal following. The transparency we promoted made the business wildly successful. People came to buy from us then their kids and even grandkids.
I sold the dealership just before the COVID shutdown decided to step back and took on other tasks, one of which was to write this book.
This book is written to help you be an educated customer so you can get the deal you and your family deserve!
I go over such things as these and so much more!
6. The “all credit applications accepted” scam
7. The most offensive “land mines” to look for in a disclaimer
8. Why “all rebates applied” is often used to offer a price they know they can’t honor
9. The sneaky thing it means when a dealer says in an ad “and you own it”
10. The manipulative sales system many dealers employ to snooker you.
Highly educational, readable and entertaining, you are sure to save hundreds, maybe thousands on your next car purchase.
You will save a good slice of your sanity too!
The book has a lot of education mixed in with a lot of humor (wait till you read my tale of my naked parts manager). I intentionally made it “very readable”
If you are EVER going to buy a car again, this book is for you.

I am writing this book to help the good and ethical dealers attract customers who will appreciate the way they operate and become life-long customers. In addition, and quite frankly, I’d like to stick it to the jerks who are unethical and try and hoodwink you.
